At July 2026, these works detailed below are largely complete with the average speed (30mph) cameras operational in Winterbourne Abbas village. The revenue for these number plate recognition type cameras is generated automatically and is paid to Dorset Police.
Together with the new 50mph limits either side of the village, it is hoped that raod safety will be greatly improved on this major trunk road.
